Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST) mới đây đã cho ra mắt dòng ổ cứng di động và để bàn mới trang bị cả 2 chuẩn USB 3.0 và 2.0 với tên gọi Touro Pro. Theo Hitachi cho biết, không chỉ cho phép lưu trữ tại chỗ, ổ cứng Touro Pro còn được trang bị tính năng phục hồi với các dịch vụ lưu trữ đám mây.
Tính năng này cho phép người dùng truy nhập dữ liệu ở mọi nơi qua kết nối Internet. Dịch vụ sẽ cung cấp 3GB dữ liệu miễn phícho người dùng và nếu muốn nâng cấp lên 250GB, người dùng phải đóng thêm 49 USD/năm kèm một ứng dụng miễn phí cho iPhone hoặc iPad để quản lý dữ liệu từ xa.
Thiết kế của Touro Pro cũng rất sang trọng với màu đen bóng piano. Ổ cứng tương thích với các máy tính Windows và Mac.
